So my sweet blogger friend Kimberly tagged me to tell 10 facts about myself on Instagram! I loved how she turned hers into a blog post, so I figured I might as well too. I have a couple of outfit posts that have yet to see the light of day and since a few of my friends really seemed to like this one on Instagram, I figured it would be the perfect opportunity to put the two together. 

SO HERE WE GO. 

• I feel I was given the gift of encouragement, and in cherishing this ability, I pride myself on being honest. More specifically, when speaking into someone's character. I do my best to give earnest, well thought out compliments. If I tell you you're one of the most beautiful people I know inside and out, it's because you truly are. If I tell you that I really believe in you and think that you are going to change the lives of many, it's because I do. I don't say things that I don't mean, nor things just to make anyone feel good. Whether it be in the moment or consistently. There's something to be admired about nearly everyone. And I believe identifying something true and beautiful in someone's character and encouraging them in that is such a compliment that can encourage one far greater than saying something kind you came up with for the sake of being nice.
• I'm an only child, love my alone time, and have some of the best times hanging out with my parents, who shoot most of my outfit posts haha... Including this one...

 

• I am rooted in strong beliefs, but I've learned to be compassionate to the areas of gray. If the greatest force in this life is love, then it's got to be our greatest tool. 
• My favorite candies are Haribo Gummy Bears & Trolli Sour-Brite Gummi Worms, but I'm beginning to take a liking to dark chocolate.

• Tea will always occupy a special place in my heart, but ever since I started working in an office, I've started drinking more coffee. It seems that at least once a week now I have a Vanilla Bean frappe with a shot of expresso and mocha/caramel pumps in my hand.
• I don't love confrontation, but out of all of my friends I'm one of the least likely to avoid it. 

• I love simple and clean design/art, but such a part of me wants everything to be covered in florals and poppy watercolors, not to mention the occasional gold glitter.
• I am really silly. If you don't know me well, I may seem pretty serious, but once I'm comfortable, we'll be either be cracking up or you will probably need to tell me to shut up haha. (Side note: I LOVE Hood Jesus. Go find him on twitter and have your day made.)

• Film photography makes me weak in the knees.
• The things that make me happiest in this life are the ability to be creative, fostering old and new relationships with kindred spirits, having a relationship with my Savior and His unfathomable love for me, being able to give in traditional or unconventional ways, being blown away by other's creativity, the ability to love and be loved, and eating nommy foods with my amazing friends.
